When you submit a diminished value review, we collect the details you provide: your name, contact information, vehicle details, accident and damage information, insurance claim details (if you choose to provide them), and any damage photos you upload.
How your information is used
Your information is used to screen a possible diminished value claim, prepare an assessment when appropriate, and connect you with a licensed public adjuster or claims specialist who may review your file. We also use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the accuracy of our valuations.
Who we share it with
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third-party marketing or data companies. The only parties outside our staff who may receive your details are licensed public adjusters and claims specialists directly evaluating or working your diminished value claim. Each receives only the information necessary to assess your case.
Photos you upload
Damage photos are used exclusively for your diminished value assessment and any resulting claim. They are kept private, are not published, and are not used for marketing.
Data retention
We retain your submission for as long as needed to evaluate and handle your claim, or as required by applicable law. You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting support@autodv.claims.
Security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the staff and specialists who need it to work your claim.
